Elkhorn, WI - April, 2010:  The United Way of Walworth  County has announced plans to host the first annual Run United race event on Saturday, September 4th, 2010.  The 5 mile/2mile run/walk will begin at 8am and end at the Walworth County fairgrounds where participants can extend the fun with a day at the County Fair. Medals for top finishers of each race and category will be given and a drawing to win prizes for both runners and volunteers will be featured at the finish line.  

Registration for the race is $25 pre-race and $30 on race day with registration booth hours from 7am -7:45am. (Download Registration form here)  Registered participants receive a race t-shirt, complimentary admission to the Walworth County Fair for the day, a goody bag and automatic entrance into a drawing for prizes. Complimentary parking is available at the Elkhorn Area Middle School lot.  Registration forms  can be requested by email info@uw-wc.org or by calling 262-374-4474.  Racers can also pre-register on Thursday, September 2nd from 5pm - 7pm at Four Lakes Athletic Club in Elkhorn.
